1980 FJ40 for sale in Massachusetts, It has many upgrades including the following:

It could use a decent paint job it is currently black metalic with charcoal grey metalic on the top of the hardtop and front bezel but other than that it's in great condition.

The LC has a GM power steering setup using the power steering from a 76 camaro which gives it a smooth turning ratio. It also has a 140-AMP GM Delco Alternator, and Optima yellow top battery which provides a ton of extra power. Aside from a decent paint job, it's in great condition. I have invested a ton of money into this cruiser over the years, so it's well worth the asking price of $4900. Land Cruisers in this condition are very rare up here in the northeast. Considering that it's a complete, solid built FJ40 that is registered, and drives extremely well on and off road. I posted a few pictures above, and a description of some of the other upgrades.
 
I still have my cruiser available for sale. Sorry for not getting back to some of you that have contacted me sooner, I was out of state for a while. There have been plenty of tire kickers stopping by looking at the 1980 FJ40, but I would prefer selling it to someone who knows a bit about land cruisers and offroading. The FJ40 is currently registered MA state inspected and road worthy it's a solid rig, it has undergone many upgrades and well worth the asking price, however I am somewhat negotiable. Personally I feel it's the ideal time to enjoy cruising in an FJ40. I'd hope to find an ideal buyer before the end of Summer.

Did you put the diamond plate on?
 
From the pictures, this looks like a great vehicle.
A couple of quick questions.
Are you located N, S, or W of Boston?
What does the tub look like under the Toneau cover, and are the jump seats in?
Under the hood, I didn't see the aircleaner-is it a standard LC unit?
