1980 BJ40 Landcruiser 1st gen Aqualu tub, soft top. All original truck with factory B Diesel motor. Upgraded springs to old man emu. All seals are done no leaks.. Odometer hasnt worked for as long I can remember. The truck was purchased by my father in 1987 and sat in the garage till 3 years ago when I purchased it off of him. Frame is in great condition, great truck!! Asking $8500 obo

Location? "B" or "2B" motor? 4 spd or 5 spd trans? Thanks.

If it's a 1980 and not RHD, it's a B engine... The 2B is JDM only and therefore only in RHD trucks.

I'm assuming the truck is from south america as it has the older bezel and not the square one? IF it came with that bezel, it should be at least a 1979 or older. It does have the 1979 and newer roll bar.

To answer your questions I will have to wait for a nice day and will crawl under the truck and take some pics of the undercarriage.

1. Frame is in good shape. no weak spots.
3. No leaks all seals front and rear have been replaced or are fine. It has the original head on it still, and is probably getting close to needing some new valve seals. Engine is tight and runs like a champ. Starts up no issues smokes a bit if you don't keep the plugs hot. Drive train is all good! Rear end could be needing a new bearing. Has a 60km - 65km howl. I have never taken the compression numbers. The bottom end is fine no issues..
6. The truck is in Langley BC Can

It was purchased new in Vancouver not imported from south America.

B motor with 4 speed trans
