1979 fj40 1st time top off

I have had other 40s but never one that hadn't had the top. Took the top off for the first time since the factory put it on 34 years ago. Only one screw head stripped out during the process. One of the ambulance door hinge screws. I built a hoist inside my garage that I've used to pull the body off a troopie, install motors, etc so it made it pretty easy and quick. On to some pics

I know yours is correct, but I still can't get over how the factory just glued a piece of flat black rubber on the inside upper door frame. Expediency.
