Hello everyone. This is my first time posting anything here. I am listing my 1978 Toyota FJ40 for sale. It is green and I am going to try to post pictures. I just bought it last year and have purchased many parts to get her back to looking good. I haven't had the time to put anything on and most of the stuff is still in boxes. I bought lots of parts from Man a Fre, TLC, and SOR. I made the pilgrimage in the Cruiser and had the Guru (forgot his name) come out and point out the many things I needed.. I bought most of it. New heavy-duty reinforced seat covers, Bush Whacker fender flares, Door window channels. shackle lift 2" front and 3" back to level it off. New body mount kit. Tons of stuff. I can't remember it all. I had an Aux tank built (not installed yet). It has a 350 Chevrolet mounted to the stock Toyota trans and transfer case. 4WD works great. The body on this Cruiser is PERFECT! There are no rust holes or spots anywhere. There is minor surface rust on a few parts but it does not go through and could be scotch brited off. I have the top and doors and the jump seats with all the nuts and bolts to put it back on. It was taken off for summer here in Calif. and I also bought a bikini top for it. The engine works perfectly but I think has way more power that one of these needs. This actually burns rubber! I have a 4 core radiator that is brand new. Warn Winch and a custom brush guard. I have spent a small fortune on this and the parts. I have lots of pictures but it only let me put up three. I want $10,000. This is a deal compared to what I put into it. Patrick.
