1978 FJ 40 I have had for 6 years. Daily driver when I drive. Juggling too many other things and I hate to see it just sitting around.
Not a car guy so hit me with any questions about info I may have missed below.
- Clear Colorado title. Vehicle is in Colorado Springs
- Odometer is working and shows 21937 so I would guess that is 121937.
- 305 SBC with 3 speed auto
- 4 Wheel and hubs in working order
- Front and rear heaters in working order
- Replaced dual exhaust with straight dumps and SS single pipe out the back
- Added aluminium fan cowling and new radiator
- 4 barrel carb
- New alternator a few years back
- New master cylinder a few years back
- Various other things replaced like coolant overflow tank, door seals
- Most mounting hardware replaced with SS (rear doors, spare tire, front bumper ect)
- Rear sill is standard, rusted condition. Needs to be replaced
- Classic rust spot behind front fender blinker
- Original jack and tool bag
- Rear seats in good shape. Front seats need to be reupholstered
- Unmounted rear bumper with 2" receiver
- Looks like it had rear fender flares at one point
$8000 - If you think this is off either way please speak up. I am listing it here first rather than eBay or Craigslist because I would rather have a clean, easy sale to someone knowledgeable than jack around for a few more dollars.
