Looking good. KM2s, eh? I'm thinking of running a pair in the rear of mine. You oughta be pretty happy about the 4.3L. It pulls well. I think it'd be fun in front of a manual trans. Keep it up. Tim
BTW, I'm running a small electric fan and the stock radiator and it never goes above 195*. Didn't know if you were worried about cooling like I was since the 4.3s seem to run hot. I do think the intake gets a little overly-warm, I think I'm getting vapor-lock at the manifold so watch out for that. If you need anything let me know.

That 40 is looking good. Your doing a good job on it. I'll be doing the same thing to mine when I find time. For now I'm just wheeling it, having fun driving it for now. Keep up the good work, and keep the pics coming.

Mike

I haven't been able to work on my ride in the last little bit. In the past few weeks I've coated the firewall and under the hood with Durabank.

I really haven't hit a lick on this thing for some time. I have been collecting parts so I should get back to it in the next few weeks. I'll update you with pics soon.

I haven't been able to put much time into this thing lately, I have contimplated selling it but think I will probably keep moving forward my 15min at a time. I've completed some more body work and painted a few items.

Progess

Finally moved forward again, been working on the house lately but found a few minutes here and there to work on the exhaust and start wiring the engine. The exhaust was a little tricky due to the location of the clutch slave cylinder but I was able to use the Monte Carlo Manifolds. The passenger side manifold had a bend right towards the slave cylinder so I cut it out right behind the O2 sensor. I would have been nervous about this but they are made of steel so it was cake. The only other options were to make a custom set or buy a manifold off of a newer Monte Carlo or Lumina with the 3.8. Neither of which I wanted to do since I had (2) sets of manifolds laying on the floor.

I am interested to see how you route and fab the exhaust, as I need to redo the PO's interpretation of an exhaust on my 4.3!

Needs a few picks showing the current condition to help sell the car.
