Up for sale is a 1976 FJ40. This Landcruiser is in great original condition.
It has had the same owner the last 30 years.
Original paint with lots of character and very very minimal rust.
71,271 original miles on the FJ.
The prior owner had the 2F engine rebuild several years ago and then it sat and was stored and very minimally driven. It’s been driven about 1,000 miles since the rebuild and it pulls very strong.
A Holley Carburetor was installed and could use some fine tuning but overall the truck runs well.
Also had a GM alternator installed. A PTO winch was also installed by this owner.

The cruiser does not come sides or a top but included is a nice ‘Best Top’ soft top made in 2019.
With only 71,000 original miles this cruiser is the ideal candidate for your daily classic patina cruiser, or ideal for someone looking for a restoration because this body is truly as rust free as you can find for these 40+ year old cruisers. That alone saves a lot of money in body/rust repairs. This cruiser has a ton of character and it’s tons of fun to drive. $16500 No trades

Great looking 40 and terrific photo presentation in your ad. Good luck finding the right home for this one.

Great question, it is unknown to me but sometimes some people are just really particular about making sure everything is as strong and reliable as possible. This guy was definitely very particular about how he maintained his rig and for some reason he felt his engine needed rebuilt. Maybe his compression test number weren’t to his satisfaction.

Really cool truck, wish it was closer to me and 30 days from now. Perfect for the patina preservation treatment!
