For Sale 1976 FJ-40 with 1955 M100 trailer

Finally thinking of giving up my 1976 FJ-40 along with a matching 1955 Canadian M100 trailer with hard top lid. Has ARB bumper, Warn winch, electronic ignition, headers,weber carb (have original as well), power steering and brakes, Old Man Emu suspension with lift (2.5" I believe), snorkel, bikini top and tailgate, soft car cover and probably a few other add ons. Missing the cigarette ashtray which was stolen 3 weeks ago (who steals an ashtray?). Mechanicaly the car is very sound (thanks to the invaluable contributions from the many menbers on this site). The body is solid, just some surface rust in a few places as I had it out past the first snowfall last year, but easy repaint to get it perfect again. I am offering it up here before I go the e-bay, kijiji, auto trader route, and asking $18000 CDN ($14000 US) for the pair.

I utilized a transport company, TFX out of Toronto, Canada. They charged me an additional $395 for the customs declaration. There is also an import duty of 2.85%. EPA form but no real big deal. I have all the paperwork at home, just completed the transaction, If you want more details I can post the common forms/process etc.

Stellar service but they may be a bit more than a broker. They are specialists at cross boarder transport. They were also very attentive during the paperwork process. It will take you a bit of time - 2 - 4 weeks to get your final paperwork from US Govt so that you can title and plate your vehicle. I have had many cars shipped and I thought the price was very fair.
