Front Insulator for 1976-1979 California "Thermal Reactor" exhaust manifold. New-unused OEM. It directs hot air from the manifold up to the air cleaner "cold" intake. I bought this many years ago for my '78, but ended up having to replace the manifold with a Federal model because of cracks. I believe these are long out of production.

Thanks for your call. I’ve been meaning to gather these up for a while. Tin ones with the heat riser coming out laterally are 1974 California spec. Tin ones with the riser vertical are 75-76. The one cloth one in the corner is the Cali spec for the thermal reactor. The ones that USED to have cloth are for the 3 piece manifold, 77 and newer.

The rest of my collection are still attached to manifolds.
