It’s with a heavy heart and a small tear in my eye that I put my truck up for sales. It’s been a huge part of my life for the last 11 years. I fell in love with another truck even before that. That truck recently came up for sale. I guess the feelings of the past were too much for me and I ended up purchasing that truck. It needs some work and love. I cannot keep both of these trucks so… after thinking long and hard I find myself here.

My build thread is one of the most popular threads in the 40 section of MUD. So there is no chance you are buying anything that you don’t know 100% what went on from beginning to end. Feel free to check in out from beginning to end. Mission Impossible......My 74 Build up by a Top Gun Land Cruiser builder :)

I also made 3 videos …

1974 fj40 #3

This FJ40 has approximately 6000 miles on since a complete rebuild. It runs, drives, and stops far superior to the same truck that left the factory in 74. I built this truck with the vintage Toyota land cruiser look and feel in mind but upgrading items and bringing this truck into this century for comfort and dependability of daily driving.

There are literally too many things and too many hours invested in this truck to be able to remember everything that has been done on it over the past years. I have tried to put together a list of items that have been done. Many parts are brand new, restored or upgraded. I have extensive documentation for all work completed on this FJ40.
