Anyone interested in just the springs? A couple of CL guys want them, but would rather give you guys first crack. Would not want to ship...but I will be in Moab soon.

I now have a 2F engine from a 1980 FJ40 to drop into the Pig. The price breakdown is:
Pig only: $1000
Alcans: $500
Disc brake front axle and rear axle: $500
running 2F with 4 speed tranny and tcase: $500
Will separate, and OBO, or trades.

I have had several tire kickers (nice to meet you Paul!!) but nothing serious, and I need to get it out of the neighbors garage. I am seriously considering parting it out. What would everyone be interested in? I would probably keep the rear tailgate, but everything else is up for grabs. All glass is good, all 4 doors are in great shape. Plenty of interest in the springs, hope to find a local buyer. The front disc brake axle minus the gears is now only $350.

shove the 2F in........get her running and list her on fleabay......you stand a much better chance of finding a home for her as a runner..........hate that route BUT she is way to nice a piggy to part and she only needs a good home...........crap; if I didn't have 4 pigs already

I really wish I could do that...but sold the 2f in the 40...and I dropped a 2f in my 40 6+ months ago and still have not gotten it running yet....new baby in August has slowed me down. If I had the time or room I would keep it in a heartbeat...really hate to sell it period.

I could always throw in a running stock 76 pig with a 2f, 4 speed, disc brakes, great interior and floors (shot headliner) with some typical rust...for $3k you would have 2 pigs you could combine into 1 awesome rig!!

How about I make the 74 the parts rig for a 76 restore project? I just picked up a running driving stock 76 pig with a 2f, disc brakes, 4 speed, etc. Everything seems to work great, interior is is darn good shape, bad headliner and rear cargo panels...has rusty fenders, etc, but a great drivetrain. Combine it with the great body of the 74, and you have an awesome rig!! PM or email me if you think you might be interested. I picked up the 76 to save her from being parted and to build it myself, but I think I want to concentrate on my 68 Pig and getting a 40 running. Let me know...

If available, I could use the plastic piece that the sunvisors clip into on the '74.
I could also use the '74 clutch master and heater control valve if these become available.
