1974 FJ40 w F155 - exhaust leak?

I just finished replacing rear wheel cylinders and all tie rod ends on this new to me FJ40 to get it driving right again. I have a pretty loud ticking sound under load when accelerating, barely noticeable otherwise... Uploaded a couple videos below - thoughts?

I was told by previous owner the engine was recently rebuilt. Definitely has a couple loose bolts on the exhaust manifold, and of course I broke one off trying to tighten it so it's going to an exhaust shop regardless.



 
I recently fixed an exhaust leak on my 1974. If you choose to have a shop fix it that’s your choice but I seriously doubt they will have a new correct gasket, nuts and studs. Those parts are available at the Toyota dealer. It’s also very possible that your leak is coming from a cracked exhaust manifold. Best wishes.

Thanks! Mostly wanted to confirm that what it sounds like is an exhaust leak?
 
looks like black above the #2-3 exhaust port, black escaping is usually a good indication of an exhaust leak.
1 piece exhaust manifolds need to be checked for cracks
use Toyota OEM gasket and torque multiple times until they don't move anymore after heat cycles
manifold combo should be true and straight, it may need to be planed so it is.
exhaust shop should have experience with this issue, good mechanic with similar experience maybe a better choice, if not doing the work yourself

Thanks so much! I can do a lot of things myself, but this is one I haven't done before, and figured I'd try to find a good shop to take care of it.

with all the help on this forum, and a shop manual, it is very doable for you to take care of this issue.

finding a shop to work on a rig that is twice the age of most mechanics in the back of the shop is the problem, unless you find an older guy who is knowledgeable, from the old days.
you most likely know more about your rig than 70-80% of the shop mechanics
