I called the guy last week; the engine needs a rebuild very soon FWIW.

That would be fine as I'd likely throw a newer model Vortec engine at it anyway. I'm concerned about rust above all else. If the body and frame are in good original condition it would be a good start for me. I've been eye balling that one in ohio, but I'd probably get burned at the stake for modifying it.
