1972 FJ40, v-8,auto, ps, disc, lift, aux tank etc_$8000.00

Bought this in March with 4 other rigs. It's time to go. Motor runs strong, looks sharp, Fresh Edelbrock carb and HEI. TH400 shifts crisply, runs smooth. Saginaw full power steering. Disc brakes from a 1976 FJ40 [needs new birfield seals. 22 gallon auxiliary tank. Roll bar, bucket seats, 2" lift with uncut wheelwells and 33" Yokohamas on 15x10 wagon wheels. Very clean original white paint.

There are 3 spots of rust on the truck. One of my cruiserhead buddies says I should cut out the rust and then sell this for a lot more money on Ebay, but I just don't have the patience to go down that road right now. Figured I'd give this a shot, then, if it doesn't work out, I'll put some time into it.

Drive it home. PLEASE!

The squeaky wheel gets the grease! Based on your 'gentle' reminder, I took the time to go back thru all the html files and find the glitch that kept the larger pics from linking properly.

I am only one person, and I prefer wrenching over figuring out html glitches. Thank you for your understanding.

Time to bump this thread I guess. I spent the second half of '09 slowly getting re-motivated to move this project forwards for myself. Got a proper battery tray mount worked out, and paid a welder to cut all the rust out of the body and weld solid metal in all 5 spots that were showing, so now the rig is RUST FREE.

And, as I was getting into the swing of things, I 'fell' into my new '69 FJ40, so this is moving back on to the sale block.

Just to clarify, what's the current price? Is the price still $7500 as posted here on Mud (but in '08) or is it $9000 as posted on your classifieds page?

It is a MUD tradition to offer a MUD price on things that is lower than advertised elsewhere.

When people call me at the shop for their Landcruiser needs and don't refer to MUD, I do not refer to MUD pricing.
