1972 Fj40 $6000 obo over 12k in parts included
Drive train: Rebuilt 1F motor 15k miles on it, original 3 spd floor shift, 4.11 gears, Detroit locker in the rear axle, rebuilt drum brakes rear, completely rebuilt front axle, new seals, new birfields, new axles, hubs, disk brakes front, 6 into one header, 40 series muffler, hand throttle on shifter, rebuilt carb, remote mount dual oil filters, Runs great!
Lift: SOA, Black diamond 2 inch lift springs, front axle flipped and shifted forward, new extended shocks.
Steering: High steer, fj80 rod ends, chromoly linkage, Fj60 power steering box, Saginaw pump.
Body: Unmolested uncut fj40 body, Metal tech full family cage, Metal tech nose guard, custom front bumper with D-rings and winch mount, Custom rear bumper with swing out tire carrier 2 inch receiver and D rings, new un cracked wind shield High back adjustable suspension seats, standard fj40 rust has been cut out and replaced with new steel, underside of body and frame Herculined black, body Herculined red inside and out, stereo with MP3 and USB remote, 6x9 speakers, Hard top (green), bikini top (black) converted to all new pro comp gauges and billet cluster.
Tires. 38x12.50xr15, Super Swampers, 4 at 70%, 1 has never touched the ground, 5 total,1 brand new black steel wheel.
EXTRAS: sm465 4 speed adapted to FJ40 transfer case, machined bellhousing to bolt sm465 to 1F,extra transfer case, transfer case rebuild kit, Transfer case external brace kit plus front output brace, parking brake kit, extra 3 speed transmission, box of body trim, 2 extra doors for half doors, 2 extra 27 spline chromoly cryoed birfields, Street legal and currently registered in Colorado, title in hand of course, I am the third owner it was stock when I bought it 7 years ago. I will deliver it on a flatbed first 200 miles free 2$ a mile after that.
Note: I will sell for $5500 obo without sm465, adapters, Bell housing, extra transfercase, water pump, throttle cable, 2 extra chomoly birfields.
The bad: exterior probably needs to be re lined in spots, parking brake needs to be rebuilt (kit included), Throttle cable snapped(will be replaced before delivery if price met), water pump leaks (will be replaced if price met), Drivers door has dent and window does not work, small dent behind driver’s door.
