I’m in need of a carb for my 1971 fj40. Preferably in working order but would accept one that’s rebuildable. Must have all pieces and parts and include everything needed to mount to manifold. Please send me a text if you have one.

Stock air cleaner too?

I could put a bundle together. It would take a little while. I’ve been backed up for what seems like a couple of months now. If you’re not in a hurry, leave a voicemail at my shop and I’ll get back to you soon.😊

Sounds good and I’ll get pictures of everything I have so you’ll know what I need. Please pm me a cost for all parts and for you to work your magic on the carb if you rebuild them. Also please let me know an estimated timeline of you have an idea of one.

Also what is the number to your shop? You can pm me this if needed.

Thank you for the response and look forward to getting my cruiser on the road.

Thanks
Justin

Did we talk? I think I got the flu right around this point, so I’m not sure. Just finished up a real nice ‘71, complete with vacuum advance.

Sorry I just now saw this. Please let me know what you need for that carb if you still have it. I was able to find one that needs rebuilt if you need it as a core. Or if you sold that one I could send it to you for a rebuild. If you’d like, my contact number is below if you’d like to call or text for real time messaging.

Thanks

You can send me yours to rebuild in a few weeks. Quite a few of the cores that get sent to me after the fact require so much extra work to rehabilitate that they are worthless as cores as far as a refund goes.
