If you look at the other images you can see a vent bolted on both sides...that particular side was ripped off, presumably by whatever put the gash/dent above the holes.

Maybe they were having cabin pressure or fume issues and decided to take matters into hand with a drill

Easy. Get the glass cut at a glass place ($90) order a new Toyota (still available) windshield weather strip and locking ring. Go to an old school glass shop, not a chain.

I saw that also. Pretty typical for one that's been sitting. That being said, I've been watching the market for about 9 months now. This is one of the best examples of a original rig I've seen. And Capri Blue, my favorite color.

...I think I might get in line behind you and contact the seller.
