Thanks rainingagain for answering Brian’s question about the tank issues. FWIW it worked after a few modifications, but I would definitely prefer an original/correct year tank if mine was a restoration.

Reviving this thread reminds me that I failed to go on a single adventure in the Land Cruiser this summer. This is unacceptable.

Bump. Was thinking about this 40 a couple weeks back but couldn't recall the username. Someone bumped one of his old threads with a post today and I dug this thread up as a result. Hope all is well with the OP, I see its been a year since he logged in.
