1966 Carb Bolt pattern the same as a 2f

Will a later model carb off a 2f bolt to my 1966 fj45. Just want to know if they are the same bilt pattern. Thanks

Just talked to my fuel injection guy amd he still thinks he can make it work. He makes custom systems for a living and does r & d and tech support for injection companies. I quess we will see

I’m all for breaking new ground and I like fuel injection no doubt. Not sure it’s worth all the trouble on an F135?

I dont want to mess up anything on the F135. He thinks he can do it pretty cheap and I can do it without modding anything so I can always go back to stock. He would then be avle to male them for later f and 2f motors.

A properly working carb on an early f engine works just fine. I’m talking pull the choke for 10 seconds, push it in and settles down to a nice idle. Assuming all mechanicals are in order.
