Went out yesterday exploring some mines. The steering is sooo much better now.

Another great day in the desert. The recent rain and clouds made it even better. We found some new to us stuff and explored a few mine tunnels. Good times.

First stop was the Dragon Mine aka Julia Mine.

Upgraded all the bump stops toady. More cushion for the pushing.

With 2 storms during the week, we headed to the mountains in search of snow. We definitely found some. We went in to Palace Station, an old stage coach stop. It was pretty much as far as we could go. The snow was about 18 to 24 inch plus deep. The weather was great. We had a fire, ate lunch, and then winched my truck out....lol.

Then headed home. After the snow, the road was a muddy mess. Today will be car wash day.

Started building my rear sleep platform / drawer set up.

Got the platform mostly done and ready for testing. At some point, I will make drawers and stain / poly the surface.

Built a s*** shovel mount and water jug holder (will have a ratchet strap as hold down). Testing out all the new goodies tomorrow........

Spent a couple days out exploring the Quartzsite and Kofa area. Lots of cool stuff to see. Met the group at Rudys for BBQ then headed out........

In the morning, we headed to see Palm Canyon and then towards the Big Eye Mine.
