VSC OFF switch install.

This thread will describe how to install a switch and turn the VSC off on a 100 series that is equipped with VSC. I have performed this on my 01 LX470 with success, there may be differences between the models and years that I'm not aware of. I have found a few threads describing issues with VSC...

I have defeated the VSC. It has been acting up lately due to the worn rack bushings. Plus it wont let ya slide it around. Less nanny crap the better for me.

I used the info in that thread. Kind of a mix of what they did.

My new rack and tie rod ends are supposed to show up today too.

In the meantime, I am going wheeling.

The day trip was better than expected........new area and a cool mine. Was chillly but refreshing in the mountain forest.

Got home and found this was delivered. Guess I know what I am doing tomorrow.

Not a fun day, but it's done except for an alignment and reinstall front skid plate. The old rack, bushings, and inner tie rods were thrashed. It had like 2 inches of play at the wheel......crazy it still drove decent.
