From the ad:

PRICE REDUCED*****Amazing barn find here. This is my Fj45, 1965 Toyota Land cruiser long wheel base. Has a 289 v8 and an automatic 700r4 with a bmm shifter. All installed in Placerville where it remained almost it's whole life. Earl Warden was the man to do the 289 swap, who is one of the pioneers of what land cruisers have become in the US. A very early lwb to come to the US. Has around 83xxx original miles. Was in storage in a barn for 15years, the second owner at that time came back ( he moved to tahoe to do orthopedic work) every couple of weeks and maintained the truck at Wardens shop and other shops in that area. Have service receipts. Truck runs well and is ready to sell. I have another 1966 Fj40 that is sucking up all my time. Would love to keep her but can't afford it. This is truly an original and I won't sell to anyone who wants to chop. Too much of a pure survivor. Hardly any rust. Normal dents and dings. Stock interior and only the driver seat is cracked and split. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping is to be decided by customer. Local pick up offered of course. Texts preferred to set up a call time.
Thanks for your time,
Tate

Do it has a 289 and a 700r, yet it is "truly an original" and he won't sell to someone that wants to chop it. Yeah right.

No where close to $18k in my opinion. There's a reason his pics are in the dark with snow all over it.

Same one that has been for sale for a year now. The guy bought it off of a Craigslist ad to flip and thought he would make a huge profit on it. I think the original owner had it listed for $12,000.00-$14,000.00 range. He bought it and within a week had it listed for $25,000.00 if I remember correctly. Now it is down to $18,000.00.

lol.....its worth exactly what one will pay for it........Sounds like hes learning.....

I might give 10 for it,,,,,,,,....IF it aint all rusty under.........But I am still at least a year out from buying myself one.

I'm always excited to see the high quality detailed photos a seller posts to ads after a good detail... Dohhhh, hiding something?? Maybe lazy, put hands on it and make offer IMHO
