1964? Short wheelbase. Incorrect frame. Bring a trailer.

All correct info, but the frame is the same between the shorty fixed and removable top. The cabs and beds changed length. Im starting to think the bed was reskinned?( wheel wells are not factory)

the bed is also missing the upright support channel inside. or do the removable top swb not have the upright support on bed? the joys of early year changes and pieced together rigs. doors i believe 67 and later as the 66 and earlier would have the 6 bolt access panel vs the 4 bolt.

They have less support’s than the fixed beds, but does look like its missing

That crossbar above the rear differential measures 31 1/2 inches. This is the 19 1964LS swapped truck from bring a trailer.

This is another 1965 short wheelbase truck, which I do have the bed for… On this frame that same crossbar is about 9 inches towards the rear… I wonder what my original frame is where the back of the cab measurement to that crossbar is closer to 30 inches?

my 62 is about 33.5 from back of cab to center of crossbar. 27" back of cab to center of back wheel 77.5 roughly back of cab to center of front wheel
