In the US it seems all the right side lenses are broken. I thought that was because we couldn't see that side too well when backing. This one is an odd one because the 66 wouldn't have cateyes so he broke the right side one and replaced it. Maybe it is some sort of LV conspiricy. Most of my LVs came with one cateye. He added another tire carrier so he had access to at least two wagons at one point.

He has a fendermount mirror and possibly the elusive rear mudflap mount.

If anyone has either of these parts, let me know :)

Do you have a pic of the too wide seat Rick? I have never seen one. I read in one of your posts that it hits the window regulators.

"too wide seat":

The fold down arms for the rear seat have short pin supports, I'd say 2.5" pin to pivot from memory. The standard issue are 4.5" pin to pivot. The short arms bolt directly to flat sheet metal on the eariest of the "1963" trucks, (3-FJ45...). The green w/ yellow spray paint truck I had (with FJ35 glass) had these short arms and a seat which when folded forward would hit the operating levers on the rear doors. This had to be common for the first run of 35/45 wagons from 1960-1963.

in later 1963, the same short arms were used with a welded box support (to move pins in board 2") on the sides of the truck under the cargo window. I had two trucks with these boxes, one of which had 4-FJ45... vin for sure.

Most of the 4-FJ45... vin trucks had longer arms (4.5") installed with the seat.

I no longer have my literature etc and cannot refer to photo refs, this is all by 7 year old memory.

...and mudflap supports and side mirror were standard throughout the run of 45 wagons. (for non us trucks)

dimpled lens is obviously an easy bolt on replacement- you have to look for things hard to remove/add like two reflectors + "toyota land cruiser" emblem (and 4wd emblem) all at once.

....a true 1962 would have to have evidence of the Toyota Land Cruiser decal....
