Transmission and shifter if it is original to the vehicle and not a later three speed. The bezel around the bib also Plus the grill in the bib.

I just noticed the stub of the column shifter by the steering wheel. Guessing the transmission was updated:frown:

Just noticed doors or at least door parts. Interested in parts if they sliding not crank style. Also the aprons but the mainly the driver's with a vent towards the front.

Curious what is the number before FJ40 in the VIN? One or two?

Got the pictures of the transmission which is the later style like I thought. Plus was interested in door parts but you mentioned the sliding parts were missing.
Never heard anything about the bezel and aprons prices.

Yes, Door shells only. A few minor dent/dings but NO rust rot. Aprons were already comitted. Bezel is still available and in excellent condition $45 plus freight. Not a stamped 'LANDCRUISER' BEZEL, though.

It's certainly not my intention to upset people, I am just trying to get this thing parted out and out of my shop, and I try to be "above board" in everything I do. Keeping this stuff straight has become a logistical challenge because of different posts on this thread, PM's, and emails. As you well know, you can get a PM without a posting on the thread. To frustrate things further is keeping straight the people with 'mud User names that are different than their email addresses. If you believe something is not straight up send me a PM so we can figure it out.

Living in the Past;A few months back I posted in the OCD soft top thread when I felt Sean was getting a raw deal. It's nice to see cruiser karma paying off. Thanks Sean and God Bess:cheers:[/QUOTE said:

Too bad someone did not make an offer to buy this very early rig as a whole, and save it...I'd have to add at least $2500 to the price just to ship it, so I'm out :frown:

I had an offer, but it was less than half the value of the major body parts. Oh, well.

What is left?

From his other thread; https://forum.ih8mud.com/sale-parts/574978-northern-ca-1962-fj40-rolling-chassis-tub.html

"Bump...Here's what's left. Tub and rolling chassis, hood, windshield frame, headlight buckets-complete with lights, bib, complete FD assembly (yes, with the knob), complete range selecter linkage, gas tank hold down straps, part of the column shift (missing shift lever and shift rods). I have the shifter bellcrank ass'y that mounts on the rear engine mount."
