I have a nearly stock black series 100. In January I had an OME kit put on and will be looking to install some Toyo A/T tires in the fall.

I was thinking I might change out the stock 16s for some 17s.
But I'm struggling to find companies who sell good looking wheels that fit this vehicle. I'm sure they are out there.

Where might you all suggest I start looking.
Thanks
Richard

X2 on the rock warrior wheels. And they can be found nearly new from Tundras with 33" BFG AT's. The Tundra guys switch them out for 22's!

New options for 17" wheels to fit the 100 series

My known options for 17" factory Toyota wheels to fit the 100 series without spacers-

17" on 100 series were available for a couple years but are not common.
17" from a 200 series are available but are less common then above.

Any other known options for 17x8 with 60mm offset?
I would also be interested in a 17" factory Toyota wheel with less then 8" wide with an offset not requiring spacers to fit a 100 series.

Whatz you got?

Hutchinson as well but probably overkill for most people.

Only listing I found for the Land Cruiser was for 8 1/2 width:frown:
Not an option without BIG spacers:frown:

I guess lots of people have used the "Rock Warrior" wheels off Tundras. They are 17". quality wheels - But they are butt ugly and I think you need spacers.

Some aftermarket stuff is available from companies like KMC or Method Race Wheels, but you have to really want 17" tires for some reason.

Most of the aftermarket options look a lot worse than original LC wheels IMO.

If 16s or 18s are unacceptable, and you just gotta have 17s, I would hold out for some of the original 17" Land Cruiser wheels from Toyota.

This is the one. 8.5" width is fine. Offset is approximately +30mm.

Hutchinson P/N WA-0550
Size 17 x 8.5”
Bolt pattern 5H – 150 mm BCD
Lug style M14 shank nut (hub piloted)
Hub bore diameter 4.32” (109.8 mm)
SAE rated load 3,200 lbs. - 60 psi
Backspacing 5.81” (147.6 mm)
Construction Cast aluminum alloy

RE: the RW wheels, you can run them w/o spacers if you have the little "hub lip" machined off. The end result offset will be more desirable than OE (+50 vs +60). The 17" RW wheels probably weigh less than the OE 16's if you remove the fake beadlock.

Thanks for the info:cool:

A double negative for me :frown: with 8.5 and weight. In a perfect world 7.5 would be ideal. I read a post quoting the weight at 44lbs each:eek: need a SC to offset the additional rotating mass.

I found a set of 200 series (IIRC here on MUD) at $650:eek:
I was hoping to find something new from a GX, 4R, or prius...
With the new 1" body lift available maybe need to revisit 16" & 35's

I acquired (5) 17 X 9 200 Series wheels that I hope to mount some 34" or 35" A/T tires on soon.

I'm looking at the Toyo 285/75/17 ~ 34"

I'm assuming I will need a .5" body lift. How about spacers?

Some run 1.25" spacers with 35s

Hutchinson Wheels

We offer the Hutchinson Wheels. Hard to beat, double beadlock, durable, and very nice looking. We have them on 3 of our company trucks, and I will be putting them on our 100 series after winter with some 285/75/17 Trail Grapplers. Here is a pic of a 200 Series we recently did with Icon Suspension, on 285/75/17 and the Hutchinson 5x150 wheels in Black:
