Diesels are cool, great mileage. I found it a little hard getting my head around how differently they operate internally but now have two diesels.
Rebuild was a bit pricey on top of original purchase price. Wish I had done a compression test prior to purchase, lesson in that!
I put a 5 speed in as well, can't wait to drive it with all cylinders having full compression. It had more power over my gas engine before the rebuild.

Do you have part numbers for the 12v conversion, if you don't mind my asking? Seems like a couple options. VSV Toyota part 90910-12010? Starter? Alternator? I've read the 2F water sender might fit.

Here are some photos of the reference pages given to me when I bought the 13BT. Hopefully you can read them.

Thanks for all the information above. Good luck on initial start. That's always an interesting day, to say the least!

Installed Autometer gauges- Water temp, Boost, EGT, Oil pressure, sure helps to know how the engine is running. Temp stays at 180 deg. and runs around about
800 deg. EGT. Which is post turbo.
Love the hand throttle as well, good for the cool starts.
Have about 250 miles on the break in.

Update 13BT has about 1000+ miles and running great.

Just finished rebuilding knuckles, new trunion bearings, seals and wheel bearings. What a messy job, glad its all done for a while now.

Installed a new SOR bimini top, nice quality.

Wrapped the exhaust downpipe and part of exhaust to minimize the heat on the passenger side. Finally fabbed a raised portion on the tranny hump to seal up the hump worked out well to cut dow noise and heat.

Installed late model jump seats to fit with the roll cage.

Installed original steps.
