if you have gone down the rabbit hole to fit 37s, you might want to get proper wheels for them assuming you are using the rig for rock crawling and such. Get 17 x 9 -9.5 Beadlocks for them and enjoy,
Gotcha, thanks man. This is definitely a budget build, not sure if I want to drop that much $ on wheels at this point. I was just going to go witht he 17x7.5 wheels because I got then pretty cheap. I have a contact at Falcon wheels that can get me any 5 wheels for $700. I think they make 17x9.5.

Did you ever end up going through with it? I have a 2018 titan xd and I love the stock wheels and don't want anything aftermarket as I think they'd look out of place. The wheels are 20x7.5 I currently have 35x12.5s on it. But looking to go up to 37s along with lifting it. Just wanted to know if you ever did it before I do. I'll probably just go for it and pray🤣🤣

Look at the data sheet for the tires your thinking of using.

Should tell you minimum and maximum wheel width.

I like a narrow wheel with a wide tire the bulge keeps rocks away from the rims.
My current setup is 8.5 wheels with 12.50 tires.

My thought was to keep the tires 12.50" wide to try to keep the front axle alive, I'm running 39x12.50 17 on a built OEM axle housing.
Last weekend was the first time I experienced catastrophic failure on the trail,I believe I broke both front RCVs. I never thought that would happen I thought the 8" diff would let go first !! ;)
I well be tearing it down today to see what happened for sure.

IMHO 18" wide tires are Dana 60 territory !

Got it, will do, you see a lot of people where I live get 37s on stock Ford and Chevy wheels they're usually 8" wide or 8.5". But I'll do that.

It was a joke. Thats how they used to do it in the 80’s and 90’s though.
