I lived in Canadia for 2 and a half years and worked in framing and as an engineer. They might be officially metric but pretty much everything I worked on was imperial. I used to convert everything to metric and do my calcs with the metric system and convert the answer to imperial. Much easier that wayAnother thought, Australia, Canada and New Zealand need to come back to Imperial measurements. Us and England are all lonely! I mean we all speak the sane language, like the same stuff, and drink the same beer.
Cheers mate. The fan is underneath the intercooler. Its bolted to the shroud that wraps under the intercooler. It is a spal 11'' low profile curved blade thermofan (30100411). I wouldn't bother with the curved blade tho - its meant to be quieter at the expense of pumping more air. I doubt you would hear the "noisier" straight blade fan over the old 12ht so I'd rather have more airHi Ali
Install looks awesome mate, so where did you mount the fan, or am I missing something in the photo
Can you please put up a link to the fan, as I'd like to do something like, I still haven't installed my cooler yet, ATM I am getting everything else done first, I'll be installing my pyro and boost gauge tomorrow, then I'll be installing my manual boost gauge and then fitting my 3 inch exhaust .
So once I've got all that in place I'll install the cooler.
Also where did you get the rubber sealer for your bonnet scoop, as if have the scoop I just don't have the rubber surround to seal it.

I got the rubber from clark rubber - it is pinchweld from the tail gate of a gemeni I think.
Yea I'm gona put a 3'' exhaust in and should really check my head bolts (maybe I'm paranoid) before I install the boost controller.
Keep up your good work too mate
Please make sure you smooth out and clean the inside of that intake tube before you put it on your motor. I've seen a lot of pictures of turbos that have eaten weld slag and other crap. It's a painful and expensive lesson to learn.
Do you intend to pressure test the intake tube prior to installation?
I hadn't intended on pressure testing it, do you think it's really worth it

No offense, but the welds look porous in the pic you posted above. It would be frustrating to get everything all installed just to find out that you've got boost leaks![]()
