Well, you could always turbo the 1HZ and outperform the 12HT, no?

But you could drive a 12HT hard all day ,every day.Something you cant do with a 1HZ T

I think what rosco is trying to say is that the 12H-T was a factory turbo so it was "meant" to be driven hard with boost for 100s of thousands of kms... whereas the 1HZ was meant to be naturally aspirated and driven hard for 100s of thousands of kms naturally aspirated.

What are the feelings on the rims??

I felt they were close to factory and major bling, wish I could find some rear toyota centre caps instead of the polished stainless units to fit.

The carpet kit and rims were all recommendations from folks on mud, so thanks.

Rob

I really like them!! they give the cruiser a classie old school style look but at the time a little bit of modern look with the blink factor. it's looking really good

Thanks for the props guys, the carpet kit is not yet installed althought it does appear to be very well made.

Just wished the wheel covers were in the kit, hate to use the beat up old vinyl ones.

Same company that makes them for SOR and MAF, he told me.

Rob

what carpet kit is it? totally happy with it?

thanks!
Steve

Thanks man, got it finished finally.

Will take more shots tomorrow,.

Wierd thing when driving, at a certain speed under load in a particular gear it feels as if you are driving over those highway vibration bumps which keep you awake......

What the heck???

Lookin good Robb!
