Recently Picked up a great condition low miles 2009 gx, after owning another one a few years ago.
Old:
This one was mostly stock, just had Coastal Off-road Rock sliders, a very rudimentary sleeping platform, ARB Compressor, and ditch lights, OEM Wheels from a Sequoia and Wildpeaks

Very excited to start from scratch again

Thanks! How was the install?
Most of the install was straight forward. Several of the mounting spots in the door skin are in incredibly tight locations. I ended up super gluing many of the washers and nuts together and used a telescoping magnetic wand to hold them in place where I couldn't get my hand. Even then it was incredibly tedious and frustrating. Despite that I would still recommend the kit for its strength and quality.

I would also recommend getting a center punch and good drill bits if you don't have any or if your old ones are dull. The kit has you install rivet nuts into the sub frame to mount the bottom door plate. You don't need to get an expensive rivet nut tool to install them. I found a cheap little tool at ORielly's that does the job with basic hand tools.

Recently picked up my 2nd gx470. I have an 03' that's black and rough around the edges. I bought it for the new baby to destroy inside. I ended up loving the thing and wanted another one so, here it is. 2008 in green sage.

Jesus, that's a time capsule. Excellent find. I haven't seen one that clean probably since the late 2000s.

And it's the only color that looks better than Cypress Green! Amazing rig and should last for a few decades more!

Gave this to my son In Dallas 7 yrs ago then after buying his wife a new SuV , he gave it back to me and kept his 100. I had it shipped here in SF Bay Area and thinking of just selling it. Now thinking of just keeping it since I really like the GX platform
I have other built Landcruisers but really enjoyed this GX

good looking package you got there, very clean ARB!!

Wrapped up a four night camping trip. GX did well and held 55 in 4th gear climbing long grades. An upgraded ATF cooler is next.

GX air springs are in the low position here.
