Dude! get a trigger handle for those cans.

Truth. I recently lost feeling in my index finger for 3 weeks after spray painting a trailer for several hours. Turns out I compressed a nerve from pressing down on the spray cap. I’m a believer in the trigger handles now.

Well, other than maybe adding a wench, I think we are at a good spot on momma's ride.

Only complaint I have is that there was ZERO instrucrions! Had a big bag of hardware and I still have some left over. Oh well it's on and ain't going anywhere.

Test fit the lights to get an idea of how it will look.

Need some SS buttonhead bolts for the flush mounts and I'm still trying to figure out how all the wiring os going to go.

I am thinking I am going to relay the fogs and add a switch so they can be turned on, or switched to operate with the factory switch.

The bullet lights I want to tie into the DRL circuit, but also want them to function as additional turn signals. Erin wants to have them cascade like the new mustang rear turn signals, but I'm not sure I can make that happen.

Gotta watch trips to Atlanta, went down for a visit this weekend and Erin came back with a M.U.L.L.E.T and a serious case of tire envy.

So now I had to order some new tires and I am in talks with @orangefj45 about some new TT springs...

Big shout out to Brian @ACC Toyota for his new product line for the GX platform. This is the first of a few things he has up his sleeve, so stay tuned as I am sure that Erin's GX will be sporting most of them soon enough. And a very special thanks to @BMThiker and Kat for their hospitality. Look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

Edit: I just noticed that 3 post up I made a Grave mistake and "thought" that we were in a "good" spot with the GX....

whilst the Tuckers were getting their LED on...
I was doing this: Speedo correction

Super easy to do on an FJC because of the gat box mounted above the dash cluster, but certainly doable on the GX and 5th Gen 4R platforms.

Got the Coopers mounted this week and it finally stopped raining. Height is good, but it is rubbing a little on the body mount on compression so will swap the new coils on when they get here from Auz.

Now we wait for the @ACC Toyota tire carrier to go into production.

Orangeboxx fold down arrived today. Gonna have to pick up some extra hardware, but probably will go on this weekend.

I'm not sure I fully understand MOLLE, but I got the first aid kit mounted.

Installed Erin's Orangeboxx fold down this afternoon. Overall it is a good product and seems well made. We did have 1 tab that I believe was damaged in shipping as the powder coating was cracked off.

I bent it back straight with my big pliers. The only complaint Ithave is the mounting method... It bolts to the door panel with a bunch of big fender washers and the only true mounting point is 2 bolts that attach to a provided capture nut where the door pull handle was.

Main mounts.

Fender washered to panel.

I'm going to get some nutserts and some longer bolts and put 4 of the 7 bolts into the sheet metal of the door to take the load off the panel itself. I mean it seems pretty solid, but just seems that a little more thought could have made it much better end result.

Overall, I'm pleased.

Going to get either a nice piece of wood or some HDPE cutting board material to put on it to give a flat surface for sitting things.

Next will be the new springs from Oz when they get here and we will be just about ready for the MS campout.

Got a pair of @ACC Toyota inner tie-rod reinforcing sleeves for the GX. They basically replace the jam nuts on the outers and sleeve the skinny inner to prevent bending under load.

After my brake job Saturday morning, I cobbled this together. . .

Ordered the rest of the RCI skids for my GX. Hoping the Slinky Stage 4 will be here in time to get installed before Round Up but for sure will be in by the camp out. Hope to get the tie rod sleeves on also from @ACC Toyota. By the way @jynx may not know we are going, but we are.

Rounding out the soft underbelly protection ahead of roundup.

We had the aluminum main skid and the gas tank skid. G-tank skid is being replaced by a steel one. It met its demise on a large boulder in the Cove. This rounds out the full RCI package. All steel transmission skid, t-case skid and crossmember and LCA skids. They are heavy as :censor: but after seeing the gas tank skid eat a fat one on one hit I figure the extra weight will be worth it in the long run.

We will run the front Aluminum unit until it bites it and then it will get a steel replacement as well.

Skids for the lower A's too? I've battered my lowers plenty and factory arms are pretty stout. And honestly, tire placement for the front is typically easier to accomplish than the rear, so they don't get abused that much.

Rick says “I’ve battered my lowers”
Means= if I can’t f it up, your good!

I questioned those, but I didn't place the order. I just have to install what momma brings home.
