12 Volt Power Ports

Phil had posted these in some thread awhile back.....and I wanted to add power ports through each front fender after I put my bumper on.

I have a bunch of Blue Sea stuff....and no real complaints....but for the price I found these to be far superior, and am very happy with them.

I've used Anderson Power Poles for years now and never had any problems. I switched after the cig-style plug for my ARB refrigerator melted while plugged into a Blue Sea socket. Of course such things are almost guaranteed not to happen at a convenient time, which for me meant two-days out on a remote trail. In addition to the benefits others have described, note that the small APP housings can fit 15A, 30A and 45A contacts and that larger housings are made for 50A up to 350A contacts. An alternative to the chassis style mount is to use these:

...although it still requires making a square hole. I like the idea of a round hole mount and hope powerwerx develops one.
