I had the dreaded knock sensor code P0325 come up, along with the loss of power etc..

I'd had it happened previously about 10 years ago, so I was familiar with the symptoms. Unfortunately for me I was on a trip and needed to fix it on the road. I didn't have any spare stuff and didn't have the tools available to test or replace anything anyway.

I remembered reading somewhere about bridging Knock sensor 1 and 2 at the ECU. Obviously, this will only work if one KS is still working.

I removed glovebox etc. to access the ECU, I knew where they were located from my previous battles with it...the plain Black wire and the plain White wire, into the middle plug on the ECU. I then shoved a thin wire loop into the back of the terminals/pins...Fixed!

Now that I'm back home, I had to fix it properly. It turns out, the wire was broken about an inch away from the KS 1 connector. Ordered a new connector pigtail, fitted it...all done!

I hope this info helps someone as I have gleaned so much valuable info from this forum.

Do you happen to have the part number for the new connector pigtail? I'm replacing my knock sensors and would like to add new wires but have had trouble finding the right part.
