why does everybody want my 100? maybe I should keep it. Think I will get the 03 for wife and sell the German car.
If I move to Hot Springs I will sell the 62 and wheel jordons 4 runner or build an 80 buggy.

See.. everyone is selling their 60s.

I just figured I was acquiring it piece by piece...3rd row seats, then rest-of-truck. For me, it's the color...best color 100 ever made.

Funny. I figured if I get rid of it it should be paired up with it's former seats.

KWhat would yall pay for an 05 with 78k on it? Grey in good condition. Possibly selling the 06 Runner for one a friend has. KBb says $30k

With the little info you gave us....ask him is price and then pay it.

You are looking at a water pump and timing belt in 12k miles. So figure some $ for that. If you do it yourself not to bad from what I have read.

That truck will last you a long long time.

Good Luck and Get it Shush

Thanks Bomar....yeah not much info. cause I haven't seen it yet....not sure on the pump, belts

I just can't believe the Hunnered bug finally got.......MY WIFE!!!!!

I think 30 is about $5000 too much for that truck. Not that it is not 100% worth $30,000 but I think you can find it for $25,000. 06/07's with the slight HP pump is still getting the 30,000+ premium. The 03-05 is basically the same truck.

After looking online at ebay craigslist and here I agree Nolan. If he starts out wanting less than about 27k I may be in bidness

I agree with this too, maybe closer to 27. I have been looking at 06/07s and with that mileage, you are in the 33-36 range depending on which year.

guy is telling me "whatever KBB says"...KBB says $30k which I am not paying (I agree with ya'll)

I will say that I paid a little more for mine than I wanted to pay. The good private party value on mine was 12,500. That's what I paid. The seller would not budge from that amount. Mine needed the TB and WP done which knocks off a 1K minimum off the price. That being said, it was somewhat local (Southaven) and it was a southern truck. The only other one I could find that fit my criteria was in SC. It was worth the extra money to be able to see it and drive it home as opposed to shipping it to my house sight unseen.

Without knowing more about the service history and condition, my top price on the car would probably be 28K. Like Bomar said, you are going to have around 1K (mine was 960 for everything including baselining the fluids) in service if you perform the 90K service at 90.

You can do it yourself and save the labor though. Its a fairly involved service though. Basically the front half of the engine has to be removed. I think the service is quoted at about 6-8 hours of labor.

You can go to the FAQ on the first page of the 100 section and look through several threads that describe the service.

ok....he told me wrong on mileage (not that it matters)

It's got 72k on it, water pump, belt are not done. MS truck. Tires are about 75% tread, it has been serviced at the Herrin Gear place and was bought 2 years ago from them as a pre owned deal.....so I would be the 3rd owner. I think it is probably worth about $27-$28k considering the stuff to be done at 90k. LEather and interior are in good shape, just need vacuuming due to cheerioes from kids.

The thing I didn't tell ya'll is that I'm concerned about heckling on price because the owner is an O4 (Major) that I WORK for! Probably offer $27k and see what happens...gotta sell the 4runner first
