Sweet.

When you get time post up some pics of the tires in relation to the truck...width, wheel well clearance, etc.

Will do.

Yes the tires are big compared to my 285/65/18...It looks to be a big jump.

Andy you will need a wheel spacer. The 1" are perfect.

It is running an OME rear spring but the tags were off the springs. So I don't know the model. Maybe 863? B/C it is big.

Cool.

I won't be buying until next spring/summer, but I'm always so iffy on tires it never hurts to start early.

It's either gonna be these 34" TerraG's or same size as now (275/70/18) but move to the trail grappler.

This truck is pimp. These tires are big. Looks and drives very good. Super tight.

It's amazing the technology jump from a 1997 to a 1998.

It's called IFS. ; p
Step back in my opinion when it comes to wheeling and durability.
NOT starting a debate between IFS & straight axles by any means.
Put that V8 in a 97 and it would be perfect IMHO. I dont need the Navi or adjustable suspension ( which i believe yours doesnt have anyway)

Nothing against a 100. I had the american assembled version in a sequoia. 100
Is better quality .Just not the same.

It's a lot more than just that. Totally refined versus an 80.

An 80 is the finest 4x4 ever imported and is a light year from a 60 series.

100 takes a similar jump. Maybe not as drastic but close.

Seat comfort is way better leather to leather in a 100...there is no way that i could even think about logging the miles we did out west in a 80. The seats fall short in an 80 unless cloth then those are lazy boys.

Wes stated how much better the LX seats where from 100.

I know that I am 100% happy with our 100 and will probably buy another down the road.

I really like the Toyo OC 2 Extreme...it is a nice crossover tire.

I agree...All mine is first gen stuff compared to yours. The small changes are neat. Like the step slides have the screw in insert.

My truck doesn't have the machined bearing cap...I hope I can add it.

Pull that same measurement. Interested in your size tire compared to the 295's.

My truck with the same tires in 275/70/18 is 15" to center of plug. AHC lift of approx 1".

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD, and hopefully approved by the NSA.

That's about right. A 1" bigger tire will net 1/2" under the diff.

These 295's are a lot of rolling mass to add to your brakes and drivetrain to net 1/2" of ground clearance.

That said, they look PIMP......

The quality of this Slee stuff is really amazing

Nice they drilled a hole for the hilift base. (might save your tailgate when it hangs on a tree)
I just got my smack fixed from last crawl.
