Working on my 2006 Land Cruiser, specifically pulling the head unit and wiring in bluetooth. Bit of a long story, but it would seem as though I've introduced an electrical issue while trying to diagnose why I had no power to the bluetooth device and trying to rectify. Very possible either my pinout diagram was wrong, the wiring harness was wrong, or perhaps more likely I just screwed it up. Hard to describe so I uploaded a quick video of me engaging ACC. You can see the radio/nav cycling on and off. When I turn to start, the starter no longer engages, but there is a loud and rapid ticking out of the engine compartment which sure sounds like a relay flapping to me.
I've been unable to identify any blown fuses, but I've only tested the constant power ones as the truck behavior on ACC is concerning enough to not leave it in the position to test the switched power fuses.
Was hoping someone might have an idea for me here, as I'm a bit out over the tips of my skis on electrical diagnosis.
Sorry about the door chime. You have to turn it up a bit to hear the flapping relay.
