Interested and adding vote for Dark Brown color as well - we ski, climb, bike and whatever else and constantly seeing small smudges on the carpet is annoying and black would help blend out any minor stuff that gets in the truck.

Black is 50/50...I had badly stained grey carpet in my 89 4Runner and dyed it black. It looks great but every piece of dead grass and grain of sand tracked-in (or blown-in while topless) stands out.

That said, and in a reversal of the above statement's intent, I'd like a dark(er) brown along the lines of the brown used on the dash and doors of the 100s with tan interiors.

In for a set of front mats only

Well said and agree with that insight - had brown in my 60 series and didn't think about non-black stuff showing up so easy.

Changing vote to darkish brown :)

I had MANY old GMs back in the day, and they always had contrasting carpet colors that I thought looked really good. I especially liked the white interior / black carpet scheme in my Olds 442s and Buick GSs, black (and blue) carpets in my 69-72 K5 Blazers, and even green carpet in my last 72 K1500 Suburban. Personally, I never found any of them to be much more difficult to "keep" than other carpet colors. The ultra-light tan carpet in my wife's '03 GX was, by far, the hardest I found to keep looking clean.

I'm certainly not pushing any particular colors, but I've personally found black to be (a) great looking, and (b) not hard to keep clean...................YMMV

Nearly all new cars (most familiar with Toyotas), independent of interior color, have black/dark gray carpet now. I can only assume it is for this reason.

While dirt and such may contrast more with black, it does not stain as easily for sure.

Very interested. As with others, I really like the idea of black.

I am actually ordering new carpets in the next day or two. Found them online for $839 plus $14 shipping.

What I can't tell is if this is for the 1st and 2nd row or also includes the cargo area carpet. It also doesn't specifiy what color (Mine is the beige interior (I think Toyota called it "Ivory" if I'm not mistaken). Anyone know?

Interesting. By comparison, when I started the 6x carpet project, I looked up the MSRP on OEM carpet (had it been still available), and for the same kit we sell, OEM would have been right at $3,800

+1 for photos — did black end up being one of the options?

Sorry to ask but what exactly does this include?

Front, rear, cargo mats? With 3rd row cut outs?

Very interested - in my past experience, aftermarket carpet isn't as thick as OEM, can you comment on the thickness? is the sound deadening foam included?
