Lift kit is in MEM according to ups site. Not going to be delivered till monday. ARGGH. So what tools do I need for installing lift kit. I dont have anything except some basic tools like wrenches and sockets in metrics but do not have a floor jack. Anbody got a floor jack?

Go get it then, I've always had success with picking it up at the UPS station, means they won't have to carry that big package.

Not in our hood. Unless you have a inside contact.
:censor:

So you're telling me that he can't pick it up today, but when he goes there Tuesday (because he won't be at his house Monday to receive it) he can? If this is true then Memphrica is, well, Memphrica.
Most people have to go pick thier stuff up that requires signature since they're not at home during the day.

I had the pleasure of working both at the Fed Ex hub, and at a smaller station in Memphis. I'm pretty sure that UPS works in a similar fashion.

The package is "in Memphis". Thats not the same is "at your local station." It means that it is in one of several hundred 53' trailers waiting to be offloaded. That will happen this weekend, since you paid for ground shipping. (If you paid the $200, it would be on a plane and given first priority). After it gets offloaded this weekend it will go in a smaller pile. This smaller pile gets loaded on a truck and sent to your local station. The local station gets their pile of stuff at 5:00 Monday morning, and is on the truck and out for delivery shortly after. There's really not a practical way to get it any earlier.

When you call RayRay at the station and aks if you can come pick up your package early (like everybody else), he doesn't know how to explain why you can't pick it up now, and comes across as just being lazy (which he probably is anyway.)

I write. Greg (Euclid) directs. I know one thing bring your beer with you.

The area around Dear, AR is cool. We turned behind high school and followed the road around. Real pretty. The camp site around Carver was very cool. Pm Greg he can give you more details.
Ponca was a good base area.
Have fun and hope to see you at Crawl!

Almost a year later I am finally getting a winch and bumper.

ARB bumper and warn winch loaded in the back of the 100

Not sure where this rust came from. Scraped, treated and painted it. Have to find out why its rusting later

Got the bracket on, so far the ARB has been a breeze to put on. Going to try and tackle the winch and rest of bumper tomorrow. How hard is it wiring up the winch?

A few hours later and one MEMCruiser 100 series has an ARB bumper and winch wired in and ready to go. I love Saturday work on Cruisers day.
