I am in first stage of build on 1998 100 which used to be wife's DD.

So far all I have done is add tires (Toyo Open Country 275/70/16) and remove the running boards

after.webp.

Next I want to add sliders.

Bring that thing to Hot Springs in Oct for the Crawl and we'll get her broke in!

This should be fun.

You say that about all of your Cruisers. Ha!

I just got back from superlift. That place was packed with toyota trucks. Saw two land cruisers, a 40 and a 80.

Lift from Slee and then old man emu? I think I can handle that. Buddy in memphis just put that on his 80, how different is that gonna be and do I need to then drop differential? It seems one thing always requires you to do two other things to do it right.

Going to order sliders in the next few weeks. Anybody want to help?

I paid a little extra for the bolt-on 100 sliders. I got them on easily. No brainer really.

Talk to Slee about the lift. Get everything they recommend. I did the bars, drop kit, and rear springs. Shocks all around. It is what you need.

Did you use the locking differential any at Superlift? Lots of good wheeling for a stockish Cruiser there.

I locked the rear on two climbs. I forget the names of the trails. I had the wife and two kids under six in the back so I took it easy. I only did trails with a one and two ratings. They do have lots of variety and the park was packed with lots of toyotas. So you guys like natural light?
