1/12 Anti-"snow withdrawl"

I'm looking forward to whichever Gulch on 1/26 - nice job, Trail Committee (if Chuck does say so himself ).

However, I'm planning to get out on 1/12 also, to hit a road or two a little less traveled. Depending on snowfall between now and then, I'm thinking of either the 357's north of Divide or seeing how far up Badger Mtn we can get (off LaSalle Pass near Wilkerson). If we should get significant whiteness close to home (ya gotta have a dream), I might just go down 322 to the lake (there's a nice firepit down there for lunch time ) and see if I can get back up the hill.

I'll probably leave the WP Western no later than 8:00 AM - more time offroad while it's warming up rather than getting colder. Plus it makes the work of installing chains that much more worthwhile.

I'd love to have company, just in case the green weenie gets stu..., uh, temporarily detained. Let me know if you're interested.

I ran the roads and trails around 357 on Saturday Jan 5th. The roads are a little snow packed to dry and thats it. I was on the ATV. A little snow packed and 30-40 mph on the atv makes for a interesting ride.

I'm out tomorrow. Maybe next time. Got my front axle all buttoned up and I'm going to take advantage the daylight to prep/paint it. Since there's crazy people in the world that think we need "regular time" so we can have more daylight in the useless hours of the morning, I never see my house in the sunlight anymore daylight savings forever!
