06 LC nav screen only replacement

Has anyone tried replacing the nav screen with one like this? It looks exactly like others that show LC compatible that cost $100.
Can't imagine it not working unless the connector is different. My current screen takes about 15 seconds to get bright enough to use so I know it is going out. Not interested in a new stereo unit as I want to keep it original for now. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction. My ‘01 nav screen w/ climate control has deteriorated and is hard to see now. I’d like to repair it before I sell. I just want an OE like solution and am not looking to upgrade the whole head unit.

I searched a bunch of threads and found it may be possible to just replace the screen. Has someone else done this fix and could help? Would something like this work? Thanks!
