Looking for any insights on what might be causing this issue. Basically I am feeling significant resistance from the car when I have the steering wheel turned most (not all) of the way when doing a 90-degree turn into a parking space. There's no rubbing from what I can telll (275/7018s) and the steering fluid reservoir is at the full line. 4WD is in "high". No issue regarding strained idle, either, when steering wheel is turned all the way. This just started yesterday. Had the steering rack replaced about 10k ago. Car has about 280k. Thanks for any ideas.

IMO bulb, is likely not out. As the bulb is rarely activated so it's rarely used, bulb is likely brand new.

Most likely the CDL switch is not functioning. It's on top of the transfer case. You can buy a new switch for under $20 and install it. This was my issue with bulb not flashing up.

Good to know - thank you - will check that out. Appreciate it!
