I was getting my rear brakes done, when I picked it up they mentioned they saw grease leaking from the passenger side rear axle. This is confusing to me as I had both rear axle seals done in November of 21’ around 17k miles ago. Could it be a deeper issue or a real possibility it has gone bad...

So I had some oil leaking out the driver side rear axle so decided to throw new seals and bearings on both side. The picture below was the driver side. I am fairly certain I need a new axle with this wear. It has definitely worn a ridge into it. Just wanted some other's thoughts and options.
