Here we go, I am trying to determine what lift is needed to clear 35 inch tires on a FZJ80 ? 2inch Dobinson Claims or more? Like maybe 4 inch? Been advised 4 inch have to redo my from drive shaft, then castor corrections would need to be made. Then Ofcorse bump stops, brake lines, sway bars...

Just ordered a Medium Duty 2" lift for our 71 fj40 and was wondering if anyone on here is running the same lift? I searched for pics/threads on Ironman Fj40 lift here on MUD and could not get much info. Any thoughts vs OMEs or Dobinsons'?

Hi all, First off, I did search but didn’t find anything. So apologies if this has been discussed before. If you have 33’s and a 2” lift, what’s your overall height of your 40? My garage is 84” and I want to make sure I’ll still be able to get in my garage after installing my tires and lift.
