I'm sure it's a reposted question but I've searched and searched mud and the general web...

Anyone know where to source the sliding rear window gaskets and/or felts for a Troopy??? Any alternative ideas appreciated as well.

Thanks ahead of time.

Check with SOR--they can get just about anything.

It might be available overseas of has SOR said no way? I know they have troopies here in Central America.

Thanks for the response. I've looked on Ebay.Au and all over the net. They've got to be out there and I'm just not finding them.

I thought about it through the weekend and I just need to ask Mr. Marv, himslf.

Thanks

Thanks much everyone... sent a few emails and I'm lost as to what "Bailey Channel" is... but I'll call.

Let you know what I find out.

Thanks again

Scott, I was looking a while back but came up with nothing. If you find some new leads let me know as I'm interested in some new gaskets as well.

Thanks,

Stephen

Got a few emails back... very promising. I'm out until Sunday and have to call a few folks for Monday. I think it may work out.

Will let you know.
Thanks to all above

there are some Troopy Bailey seals ? what ever those are ?
RBC3003A BAILEY CHANNEL LANDCRUISER FJ75/HJ75 TROOP TO97 $29.98 EA
on this website http://www.rarespares.net.au/PriceLists/PriceList.aspx?model=Toyota+Landcruiser&car=37

Bailey is the window track. Or the stuff with the felt.

Door belt is the door weatherstripping.

Seal Screen is usually the front windshield seal.

I was just as curious and ordered one for a 55 for the hell of it.

I've ordered 55 sheetmetal from them and it was pretty good stuff. Wish I could find the person who actually makes it.

Thanks... didn't want this to die a slow death.

I still have some emails out and took some pics today. Have gone back and forth a bit... but will post up what I have soon I hope.

Ok, anyone w/ 1/2 a clue as to which they think the Troopy uses??

I'd ventrue 4th row... 1st or 3rd image.

Thanks for any input.

I ordered a 30 meter roll of the Troopy Bailey channel from Australia recently. I had to order a complete coil. I'll have lots leftover.

It looks like it might be the same as the Bailey channel used on the 60 series Australian market sliding rear/side windows.
