Hi Otto,

I've been wanting to order some of these can's. Who has the best deal on them right now?

Can you explain more about the "Old" pour spouts and what's been changed to the new ones? Are the older ones better for some reason? If so, where can you get those spouts?

Sent you a PM also, as I'm in the Dallas area.

Almost everyone sell them for $40-$45, but the shipping charge is almost $10 each due to the weight.

I'm thinking about ordering a pallet full of these MFCs to lower the shipping cost and split the MFCs with those in the Dallas/North Texas area,

How soon and how much??

You should do this. Wouldn't the cans even be cheaper getting them in bulk? Find out cost and what shipping comes to on each can and let me know. I might be interested in several gas and water cans. Maybe four of each.

I'd be interested in a couple of each too.

Thanks Yorker, I have been looking all day for just such a picture and what specificly I was talking about.

Thanks

I got the Jerry cans from Power industrial down in San Antonio (sp) 210-684-7071 . I just recieved a shipment of 2 cans, when I talked to the guy he said that Texas was going with the CARB compliance which means in a few months he can only sell the Military version to the Military and not civilians. Better getem while you still can. they are about 3-6 dollars cheaper than any other place that I have looked. it cost $83.11 for two green cans delievered to the house (in dallas).
Power industrial also has water Jerry cans as well, I dont think that there will be a limitation on sales.

if you look at the interior rings of the can you will notice that the threads are made for the metal "flexi" spout that you have seen with the Blitz cans, whereas the outside threads are for a Scepter brand pour spout. this is so the military can use at least some of its outdated hardware if they dont have the new stuff. I will look for some photos and post them. (disregard due to previous post)

Otto, does Powers Industrial Equipment, LTD. have red color cans?
I didnt ask, I was going for the Olive drab with the red strap. Power Industrial is a Scepter dealer so if you order enough he could get them. (think pallet) Good Luck
