they are 35x14.50 and i HATE them, they are good in the sense that they make me float, but i am so light that i float over almost anything, i want some 35x12.5 bfgs, frobably this summer.

Hey cool rig! thats quite a tire careier.
Just my .02 but if your gonna shell out for new tires check out the pitbulls that are coverd in the reviews cool stuff or any other bias ply as oposed to bfg's for that matter!

Welcome abord!

yeah the tire carrier is a prototype and is now a disaster, i was on the trail and it fell off, there were a few factors. one the weight of the tire, 2 the materieals used in the hinge and the pin. i was using a piece of thread stock which was too weak so it just fell off witht he weight of the tire being so high. SO its back to the drawing board, hense y i want smaller tires, it will cut down on about 10 pounds of rubber per tire. i dont like the pitbulls yet. mainly because i think they will wear too fast. i had my bfg at's for 5 years and they still had 65 to 75% tread on them when i sold it. plus the truck doesnt get driven very often so i will have those tires for pratically ever. any other ideas?

i want to make a brush guard for the front bumper do you think it will look ok?

do you already have the 5.29s? If not, I might be interested if you truly have 3.73 in yours...

you should have 4.11 in there stock. I think it would look cool with a hoop added to the bumper.

bkfj40, Wish I had a crew cab diesel!
