Hi there,
I'm a new member of the 2-Cruiser Club, I have a 60 with lots of fun mods and have really enjoyed building this 60 --> AND yes, I'll post some pics and an intro about the 40 shortly.
BUT...I've got a couple quick questions:
1. REALLY high idle(2F, stock carb): I've gone through the steps I usually go through to set the idle on the 60 (choke out, fast idle set, then regular idle, etc...). Idle screws don't touch the idle speed at all. Ideas?? return springs? throttle cable itself?
2. It came with the SOR fender guards that attach to the brush guard and then to Frame. They are still in the wrapping...They look cool from pictures and my 60 is the dedicated, harder wheeling vehicle right now. Should I put them on? Or are these Damage Mulitpliers?
3. I have a verrry slight leak in one of the heater pipes that goes to the PS side of heater controls. I followed them into the engine bay - clamps are tight, etc. Do these pipes ever crack or split or anything? I haven't dug too deep into this one, yet.
Thanks!!
