Not the most common breakage spot, is there an impurity, inclusion at that spot? A nice closeup of the broken faces would be cool.
 
Christo, I will be calling you next week to order Poly Performance...do you carry the beefier studs, etc for that?
 
Before the UA I changed all the studs on the ShortBus to ARP. I checked them every day and I actually snapped one off when I tightened it.

I would redrill the axles and hubs to take 10mm studs from a 100 series and also install more dowel pins.
 
Do the poly's only accept 10mm?

I may run stock...would rather sheer a pin and redrill to 10mm when needed vs. all that up front (since I don't have it torn down to do so, no press, etc).
